Sunsets or Sunrises

 

I May Be Obsessed

    I really love the sun and the colors that make the sky. The pictures above were recently taken. Almost every time I see a pretty sky in general I take a picture but the sun always does something really magical to the sky.

    I took the first picture, on the left, as I was driving (I made sure I was safe). It was after I woke up early for morning lacrosse lifts and was driving to school. I saw the sun peaking over the horizon and was able to capture a real picture of the sun looking very orange and making everything to the left and right of it turn pink. I also really like how the rest of the sky was still asleep and dark. I think cloudy sunrises are the best sunrises because the sun always reflects off the clouds and each cloud sits in the sky a different shade. 

    The next picture, in the middle, was taken as I was driving (safely again!) and it was a really pretty sunset. I was driving to pick up one of my friends. I really liked this picture because the cloud was perfectly placed between the trees and was a really pretty color from the fading sunset. This sunset was becoming duller as the sun was going down but still, the orange haze it projected onto the sky affected the clouds. The very sparse clouds in the sky were a pretty, light pink. 

    The last picture, on the right, was taken at a football game. This was a beautiful night and I was at this football game with my friends. The air was warm and the sun was setting really amazingly. I like how blue the sky looks with the contrasting pinky sunset. Also, the field in the foreground is very contrasting. The way the lights, light up the bright green field makes this picture look very fresh and summery. 

    I have so many more pictures of sunrises and sunsets on my camera roll. The cool thing about these pictures is all of them are unique. Unique in the time it was taken, where it was taken, who I was with, what happened before or after it was taken, and also the fact that sunrises never look the same. The sky is always painted a unique color and for that reason, I will continue to take sunset pictures.
