Expectations and Plans

 Expectations

    My expectations for this class is to better my comprehension and application of writing. I know how to write from high school but I expect to highly improve during this semester. I’m hoping that I’ll be able to write continuously and strongly. Then, take that and revise it into a better writing every time. I like to write however I feel like sometimes I lose the reader in my writing. I like to go on tangents a lot so that’s probably why I lose them.

    I expect myself to stay on top of work and to focus in class. I need to improve upon my writing so I’ll do so by reading the book provided to us in class. But just the basics of writing I feel like I need to improve upon. I also expect my learning instructor to be understanding about my other things going on in my life and not give a giant work load. I don’t expect this class to be challenging to the point where I can’t do the work but challenging enough to keep my mind engaged and challenge my personal beliefs about writing. 

Plans

    My plan for this class is to not procrastinate and try to stay on top of my work and really try my best to improve on my skills. Writing is so important so I need to be able to write a successful paper for not only college but jobs after that, and probably at work writing evaluations, and case studies. I need to stop procrastinating like I usually do and use time during the day to get my work done. I’ve been doing really good recently and I’ve been going to study on my own time so I can stay on top of my work at school. I’m really excited for this class actually to improve my writing and analyzing of texts.
